Refuge and Fortress Network (RNF NTWRK) was birth during an encounter with God from the book of Psalm 91:​

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;"

Pregnant with this vision after an encounter with God at a very young age, Pastor Emmanuel - The set man over this commission didn't know at the time what would become of the encounter. Many years later after a series of events which he calls his pivotal moments of 7, the encounter resurfaced and the vision was birth.

 

It would take many more years of praying and seeking the face of the lord, for the vision to finally take root and find expression through several divine encounters, prophetic instructions and confirmation from trusted ministry leaders.

 

Not too long after, the lord commissioned him and his wife to what they have come to know as the LIFTING MANDATE. 

​

A MANDATE TOWARDS THE LiftING OF the spirit IN man AND THE awakenING OF the giant WITHIN. Renewed, revived and reignited to live a transformed and kingdom fulfilled life as intended by God. Ezekiel 37:1-14, Luke 4:18, John 10:10

Pastor Emmanuel, born 7th of 9 children, WAS BORN IN A CHRISTIAN HOME. PERSONALLY found Christ in a school fellowship in 2007, he got married in the 7th month of 2017 and was called into ministry after 7 years of service in many leadership capacities at C.A.C Wosems' COGA Cathedral (Bronx NY) under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Famuyide.

PASTOR EMMANUEL IS ALSO A businessman WITH MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS INDUSTRY. A BUSINESS consultant/ADVISOR and certified information system auditor by profession with years of experience working with international investment banks on wall-street, top 4 accounting firms, TOP REAL ESATES DEVELOMENT Companies and major insurance corporations.

 

HE received his bachelor’s degree in economics and Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting AND HE IS currently ENROLLED IN THE PRESTIGIOUS SCOTT. T SANDERS BIBLE INSTITUTE FOR BIBLE SCHOOL.

He currently resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with his beautiful wife AND CO-PASTOR Loni o. and their three children (Ella, Eddy and Elena). They enjoy meeting new people, trying out new restaurants and traveling whenever they are not in the studio teaching or at an event speaking. 

Institutionally no, practically yes. We (the people) are the church. we practice Christianity we don't simply profess Christianity. We are a ministry that functions beyond the four walls of the church. We are a movement that emphasizes community over "church", relationship over religion, deeds over doctrine and citizenship over membership. Every RNF chapter from one city to another seeks to merge Christ with the culture of love (Philia Culture) thereby producing a Christ centered and culturally sensitive community.

The vision has since inception gone through series of translations. When a vision is given, the visionary has the burden of determining the best vehicle to carry out the vision or mode of operation. First we started online as a digital ministry, then we added itinerate ministry. when the vision expanded to include a community where training and disciplining will be central to what we do, the need for a culture arose.  What defines us as a people, what binds us, what do we live by, what do we preach and more importantly what do we practice. In one word? Love.

Philia Culture is love culture. A culture that is built on a strong bond of brotherhood and sisterhood. It binds together those who share common values, interests and ideology. It’s the joy-filled bond that unites friends, the companionship we cherish, and the loyalty we uphold. It takes our relationship from the depth of friendship into fellowship and moves us to a point of partnership. While only God can truly show us Agape love, Jesus is the perfect example of the Philia kind of Love.

John 15:13 - Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

​

Philia Culture is therefore the community expression of the network.

- RFma (marriage Academy)

- RFMA (Medical)

Every chapter will be different based on stage and phase. The goal is to connect once a week at your nearest RNF Connect Center, have monthly experiences that focuses on growing in faith, winning in relationship and making connections. It is a vision deeply rooted in love and community for the expression of friendship, fellowship and partnership.

Some weeks will not be business as usual. Instead we will be at a out being the hands and feet of Jesus. Other weeks we will be out strengthening the bond of friendship on a social level.

 

This is Philia.

Most Christians are not Christians in the true sense of the word Christian. This is a nation of Christ with him as our lord and our savior. He is the perfect example that we live out our lives emulating. We are all a working progress striving to be formed in his perfect image and likeness everyday until the end.

 

You don't have to believe before you belong. All we ask is that you are open to giving and receiving love, the philia kind of love - friendship, fellowship, partnership.

Our part is to show you Christ not just in words but also in love and in action.

Our part is to pray that through the expression of his love we can make R.E.A.L the person of Jesus to all nations

Our part is to pray that we might one day go from friendship to fellowship then partnership. not just with one another but also with the holy spirit.

The instruction for Hither was released in September 2022 after the order of Revelation 4:1:

"After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."

​

Hither is a time of prayer and consecration to seek the face of the lord and wait on him until a word of instruction is released for the subsequent months and years to come. 

This is a time where we come together as a community in fasting and prayer.

This is a time of spiritual recharge (Colossians 3:10)

This is a time of divine encounter (Genesis 28:16)

This is a time of waiting on the lord (Isaiah 40:31)

This is a time of consecration and separation

Hither happens twice a year in January and September. The fast ends with a community feast. Connect with chapter president for more information.

Simply put, SELAH is a time of rest, pause and reflection. It is a time to unplug from the hustle and bustle of life and really get in tune with your innermost self. 

​

At SELAH there is only one agenda - REST.

Selah can happen locally, out of state, or internationally at a decided upon resort.
